Incoming Women's Tennis Association (WTA) chair Valerie Camillo is familiar with working around the clock through her career - such as her time as a board member for a tourism firm that operates American country music superstar Dolly Parton's entertainment venues.

In addition to the expertise regarding Parton's business interests, Camillo steps into the helm at women's tennis bringing extensive background across sport and entertainment, with past roles in key executive jobs at the top professional basketball organization, the premier ice hockey competition and professional baseball.

Camillo will begin her new role at the WTA this November, succeeding the veteran Steve Simon, after his lengthy leadership is ending as he steps down.
